Product Description

WRP Technology is proud to introduce the first ever variable cam sprocket for the qr25 platform. This sprocket features 4 points of variation based on engine needs. With a -2, -4, +2, and +4 degree change, both Turbo and Naturally Aspirated motors can benefit.

How does this work? This is for the exhaust cam sprocket and can add or eliminate valve overlap. In N/A applications, adding overlap allows for more cylinder fill as the motor is able to retrieve more exhaust gasses back into the cylinder chamber and have higher pressure. In boosted applications, the elimination of valve overlap allows for more effective boost as air is not "pushed" out the exhaust valves before they close, they close sooner.
